Here is a great way to get into the festive spirit with a timeless holiday classic! This rich and creamy drink will warm your heart and delight your guests. Eggnog.

 

Here are the Ingredients:

– 2 cups heavy cream

– 1 cup whole milk

– 1 cup sugar

– 6 large eggs, separated

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1 cup bourbon or brandy

– Nutmeg for garnish

 

Directions for Eggnog

  1. In a large saucepan, combine the cream, milk, and sugar. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg yolks and gradually add some of the warm cream mixture to temper the eggs.
  3. Return the egg mixture to the saucepan and cook until the mixture thickens, about 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and bourbon.
  5. Now in a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold into the eggnog.
  6. Serve this chilled, and garnish with a sprinkle of nutmeg.

 

Serve in a Glass Mug or Old Fashioned Glass
