St Patrick’s Celebrations New Orleans

First, let me say, there isn’t just a day for St. Paddies in New Orleans. New Orleans likes to celebrate life and so let’s just call March “St Patrick’s Month because the partying begins very early in the month. First, there is the Downtown Irish Club Block Party on Sunday, March 5th. This public celebration takes place in Washington Square Park. Live Music is always given. Next up is the Irish Channel St. Patrick’s Day Parade this weekend Saturday, March 11. And to finish it up the celebration rounds up with the Downtown Irish Club Parade on Friday, March 17th. This parade parties through the Marigny French Quarter, and into the CBD – Central Business District.
